Job & Company Description:
Im looking for Systems Administrators with hands-on experience supporting and maintaining servers, networks, security systems, and cloud environments.Partnering with me provides access to exciting technical roles where your expertise in Windows/Linux environments, virtualisation, networking, backups, and cloud administration will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and availability.
- Install, configure, and support software, hardware, and network systems.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls.
- Support virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Perform backups, disaster recovery, and patch management.
- Manage cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
- Ensure security compliance, antivirus management, and firewall configurations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Microsoft Certifications (MCSA/MCSE, Azure) , CompTIA A+, N+, Security+, VMware / Hyper-V Certification or Cisco CCNA
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a Systems Administrator
- Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience with virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Cloud Experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
