The Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all lodge operations, ensuring every guest encounter meets the highest standards. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining seamless service, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence across all departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping, and guest services
  • Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction and personalized service
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Maintain the lodge’s luxury standards, cleanliness, and atmosphere
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage inventories
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the General Manager
  • Foster a team culture that reflects our values of excellence, integrity, and hospitality
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A hands-on, service-driven leader with a sharp eye for detail
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
  • Hospitality management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to work in a remote, high-end lodge environment
