Field Sales Engineer - Electronics

A respected distributor of electronic components and embedded solutions is looking for a driven Field Sales Engineer to grow its footprint across Gauteng.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong external sales background who understands the electronics industry and enjoys building long-term relationships within OEM and manufacturing environments.
Non-Negotiable Requirements- 35 years experience in external sales within the electronics industry
- Good understanding of electronic components, semiconductors, and passive components
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong customer-facing and relationship-building ability
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
- Develop and grow new business within the electronics manufacturing and OEM sector
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions
- Prepare quotations and manage customer follow-ups
- Work closely with suppliers and internal technical teams
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service excellence
- Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies
A technical background or exposure to electronics will be advantageous.
