FMS Roaming Maintenance Technician

Suitable and interested applicants are invited to apply for the above position available at, based at the Tunney Ridge offices, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be required to roam various sites and service current Mining operations.

Were seeking a skilled Roaming Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for onsite maintenance of fuel management systems across mining operations.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults, perform error analysis, and commission new installations.
• Service, repair, and maintain equipment to OEM standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules and support mini-projects.
• Maintain accurate records: job cards, stock counts, vehicle logs, and technician reports.
• Provide technical advice to customers and act as site manager when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in standby duties.

Requirements:

• Electrical Trade Test (essential).
• Electro-mechanical or instrumentation experience.
• Valid Code 8 drivers license.
• Strong technical knowledge, customer focus, and communication skills.
• Ability to compile professional reports and interact confidently at all organizational levels.
• Good health (medical fitness required by mining clients).

Work Conditions:

• Standard mine operating hours: 07:0016:00, Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility for shift work and weekends when required.
