Airfreight Controller (Import, Export and Cross trade)

Minimum requirements:
- Coordinate full airfreight processes from initial booking to final delivery.
- Prepare and process export/import documents, including AWB, declarations, transporter instructions etc.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular status updates, tracking information, and resolving shipment delays or issues.
- Liaise with airlines, origin and destination agents, handling agents and transporters to arrange cargo collections / deliveries and bookings.
- Handle internal costings, file register and negotiate airline rates when necessary, and manage accurate client invoicing via CargoWise.
- Possess a good understanding of Incoterms, Customs and import / export procedures.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications especially Outlook and Excel
- CargoWise experience essential.
- Good understanding of DRG and Part 108.
- Group A (previously CAT6) Certification beneficial
