Workshop Supervisor / Mechanic, Randburg

This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily workshop operations, ensure high-quality vehicle repairs, and maintain efficient workflow in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transport
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Mechanical Trade Test (Petrol or Diesel)
• Computer literate
• Minimum 5-6 years' mechanical and supervision experience in a workshop

Required skills:

• Strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol and diesel vehicles
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of workshop staff
• Efficient scheduling and workflow management
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication with staff, clients, and suppliers
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance
• Customer service orientation and professional demeanor

Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable + 50% contribution to Provident Fund
