Financial Controller

A leading organisation within the property sector is seeking a Financial Controller to join their finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, driving reporting excellence, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full finance function
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes
- Drive financial controls and process improvements
- Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights
- Manage and optimise MDA property management systems
- Support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting
- Mentor and support junior finance team members where required
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- 35 years post-articles experience
- Property industry experience preferred
- MDA experience is non-negotiable
- Strong financial reporting and control experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
