Production Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. NQF 6 in Production/Operations Management or HNDT in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Production Manager role within manufacturing (preferably FMCG).
• Hands-on experience with injection moulding processes and machinery is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, and Food Safety practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full production process to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.
• Implement production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements.
• Lead and manage production teams, promoting a culture of accountability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, quality, and food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
