Student Liaison Officer

Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Reception:

  • Maintain a polished and professional reception area.
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Greet and assist all students, contractors, and visitors.
  • Prepare and manage boardrooms for meetings and student interactions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries and concerns.
  • Provide support for scheduled contractors and maintain key registers.

Student Accommodation Admin:

  • Assist students with queries, complaints, forms, and maintenance requests.
  • Log and track all maintenance issues via email and phone, and generate work orders.
  • Monitor the Admin mailbox and respond to queries related to the Units on Cape Station.
  • Ensure availability of all student documents (sleepover forms, visitor forms, etc.)
  • Attend and minute property management meetings.

Support to Property Manager:

  • Assist with daily admin tasks and coordination duties.
  • Uphold building management standards through consistent communication and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) essential
  • Diploma or Degree in Office Administration advantageous

Experience:

  • 24 years in a front-desk, receptionist, or admin role.
  • Proficient in MS Office and related software tools.
