Payroll Administrator

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage both monthly and weekly payroll functions for over 300 employees. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll accuracy, administering the time and attendance system, and providing exceptional support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and validate the clocking system to ensure time and attendance accuracy.
- Capture and verify overtime, leave, and payroll data prior to submission.
- Handle employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and payroll documentation.
- Manage onboarding and terminations, including UIF, provident fund, and final pay processing.
- Collaborate with finance on monthly reconciliations, payovers, and variance reporting.
- Support HR with various administrative and policy-related tasks as needed.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualification: National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field (advantageous).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in payroll administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Systems: Experience with PRP clocking system and VIP Payroll advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Attributes: Accurate, methodical, ethical, and able to perform under pressure.
