Senior Deal Exit & Disposal Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Specialist: Exit/Disposal to support the execution of investment exits and disposals, ensuring optimal value realisation across a portfolio of investments. The role focuses on designing and executing exit strategies, identifying buyers, and supporting transaction processes across multiple exit channels including trade sales, secondary sales, and IPOs.

• Develop and implement effective exit and disposal strategies to maximise value recovery
• Support identification and assessment of potential buyers and exit opportunities
• Provide input into due diligence and transaction structuring for exits
• Analyse portfolio companies and continuously assess exit readiness
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, private equity firms, and strategic buyers
• Advise on exit options for existing investments and new deal structures
• Support negotiation and execution of exit transactions
• Monitor market trends, valuation benchmarks, and industry developments
• Contribute to optimisation of internal exit processes and resources

• Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Commercial, Legal or related field
• CA(SA) / MBA
• 8–10 years’ experience in investment exits, private equity, M&A, or commercial banking
• At least 4 years’ experience in business valuation or investment assessment
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise
• Experience in sell-side M&A transactions and exit strategy execution
• Strong understanding of financial statements and business risk analysis
• Knowledge of corporate, tax, contract, and insolvency principles
