Duties:
Manage daily reservation system operations and bookingsHandle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Process and confirm reservations accurately and efficiently
Maintain guest database and reservation records
Process invoicing for reservations, deposits, and special bookings
Manage stationery orders and inventory for front-of-house operations
Load and manage contracts in relevant systems
Communicate with Accounting department regarding financial matters
Flag important emails requiring Reservations & Guest Relations Manager follow-up
Coordinate with suppliers and process related invoicing
Liaise with broader Boschendal team regarding special gestures for guests
Communicate special requests and dietary requirements to relevant departments
Manage waitlists and cancellations
Generate reservation reports and analytics
Coordinate with FOH management regarding capacity and table allocation
Requirements:
Grade 12A formal hospitality qualification
At least 2-3 years of experience in reservations or hospitality administration
Experience with invoicing and basic accounting procedures
Proficiency in reservation management systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms, or similar)
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with contract management and documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with customer service in upscale establishments
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
Experience in fine dining or high-end restaurant environments
Knowledge of restaurant operations and table management
