- Lead process design and optimisation for mineral processing, metallurgical, or industrial process plants.
- Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Participate in FEED studies, detailed design, commissioning, and plant optimisation activities.
- Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project management teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support client engagement, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- BEng Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering Registration (PrEng) with ECSA.
- Minimum 10 years experience in process engineering, preferably within metals, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects.
- Proven experience in process plant design, commissioning, and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of process simulation tools and engineering design standards.
- Experience working on large EPC/EPCM projects will be advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and process design capability.
- Ability to manage complex engineering deliverables and project timelines.
- Effective stakeholder and client engagement skills.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary project environments.
