Financial Manager
In heavy industry, strong financial leadership is what turns operational complexity into commercial clarity. A well-established organisation within the manufacturing / mining / industrial sector is looking for a Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function across a multi-entity environment.
This is a hands-on, technically demanding role suited to a seasoned professional who understands costing, margins, and operational finance at a deep level. If youre comfortable working with BOMs, analysing P&L performance, and partnering with operations to drive efficiency, this role offers real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full finance function across multiple entities
- Leading costing processes, including bills of material (BOMs) and cost analysis
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts and P&L analysis
- Driving financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance
- Providing commercial insights to support operational decision-making
- Managing cash flow and financial planning
- Working closely with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and margins
- Utilising Sage Evolution for financial management and reporting
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CIMA qualification (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 8 years experience in a financial management role
- Strong experience within manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial environments
- Deep understanding of costing, BOMs, and operational finance
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Experience with Sage Evolution highly preferred
