Supply Chain Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full supply chain function, including procurement, expediting, logistics, and warehousing
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines and business objectives
• Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers and subcontractors
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Drive supplier performance, compliance, and quality assurance
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams
• Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain
• Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards
• Optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency
• Lead and mentor a supply chain team

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
• 710 years experience in supply chain or procurement within an engineering, EPC, or industrial environment
• Proven leadership experience managing supply chain teams
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience with international sourcing and logistics
• Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Advantageous:

• Experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy engineering projects
• Exposure to project-based procurement environments
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS)
