Duties:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network, and desktop issues
• Perform regular system backups and updates
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
• Assemble PCs and replace components
• Setup user accounts, video conferencing tools, and manage IT assets
• Support printer, finance software, and Plant IT systems
• Conduct preventive IT maintenance and ensure IT security compliance
• Maintain helpdesk systems and generate reports

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• FET Certificate in PC Support / PC Engineering / IT: Technical Support / NC: IT: Systems Support (NQF Level 4-6)
• Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and newer, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, Active Directory, and CompTIA A+ and N+. Advantageous certifications include MCDST and CompTIA Security+, with basic PLC knowledge seen as a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on IT support experience
• Must pass a practical IT competency test during the recruitment process
