Facilities Technician

Minimum Requirements:

Recognised Red Seal Trade Test certification essential and non-negotiable
Relevant trade background in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing or related discipline
Minimum 2 4 years facilities or building maintenance experience
Hotel or commercial office/property maintenance experience essential
Strong HVAC, air-conditioning and refrigeration knowledge
Plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) experience
Health and safety knowledge
CMMS experience such as OMNI advantageous
Able to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and emergency call-outs
Valid South African ID

Key Responsibilities

Facilities maintenance, repairs and technical fault-finding
HVAC, air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance
Plumbing, electrical and general building repairs
Planned and preventative maintenance
Responding to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues
Maintaining guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities
Completing job cards and maintenance records
Ensuring safe, high-quality workmanship
