Junior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean and analyse data from databases and data warehouses to uncover meaningful insights.
- Build dashboards and visual reports that enable business teams to monitor performance and drive strategic decisions.
- Partner with crossâfunctional teams to understand data needs and convert them into actionable analysis.
- Maintain high data quality by identifying gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improved data integrity.
- Support ongoing enhancements to analytical processes, tools and reporting frameworks.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education (Minimum):
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience:
- 03 years experience in data analysis or related fields
- Technical Skills:
- SQL (essential)
- Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet capability
- Python or R (advantageous)
- Soft Skills / NonâNegotiables:
- Must be based in Cape Town
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Clear communication skills, especially when presenting insights to nonâtechnical audiences
- Curiosity, attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
