Automotive Alloy Wheel Quality Inspector | General Worker - Western Cape; Cape Town Northern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect rims for bubbles, scratches, paint defects, porosity and other quality issues according to required standards and SOPs
• Identify and report any faults or defects to management immediately
• Regularly check stock and consumables required at the quality station and report shortages
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times
• Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and consistently
• Assist other departments when required and as instructed by the Operations Manager
• Follow all company procedures, quality standards and workplace requirements
• Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 1 years experience in the motor industry
• Previous experience in a quality, production, wheel/rim or automotive manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of quality standards and the ability to identify defects on rims
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and presentable
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Quick learner with a proactive approach
• Resilient, hardworking and willing to assist where required
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Motor Industry experience Essential!
