Financial Accountant

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation seeking a driven Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideally suited to ambitious finance professionals who have successfully transitioned from articles into commerce and are looking to take the next step in their career.

Candidates with distinctions, Dean's List recognition, Golden Key membership, or strong academic records are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• VAT, tax and statutory compliance support
• Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
• Process improvement and internal control enhancement initiatives
• Financial analysis and reporting to management

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Completed SAIPA Articles (Non-Negotiable)
• Minimum 2 years commercial accounting experience post articles
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Exposure to budgeting and management reporting advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Stable career track record
• High academic achievers preferred
