Accountant

We have a vacancy for an Accountant with a vehicle dealership in Spartan.

The role requires some of the following duties:

• Interprets, compiles, and maintains automotive accounting information for the dealership
• Maintain monthly vehicle inventory and flooring records and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements for submission to manufacturer.
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with financial activities such as preparation of yearly budgets, cash flow, purchases

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar Diploma in Accountancy
• Basic understanding of all corporate taxes
• Must have experience in trucking industry and with vehicle dealership Accounting
• Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as Accountant
• Numeracy accuracy and diligence and good computer skills.
• Supervision experience
• Clear criminal record
