Company and Job Description:

A well-established and fast-paced organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle management: customer profiles, invoicing, credit notes, receipt allocations and follow-up on overdue accounts
  • Full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle management: supplier profiles, GRN/GRV matching, credit notes and payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations, including downloads, imports and accurate capturing into Sage Evolution
  • Treasury and cashbook management, ensuring daily cash visibility and supporting cash flow forecasting
  • Preparation of month-end journals, including AR provisions
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and resolution of reconciling items
  • Preparation of ad hoc financial reports
  • Accurate data entry, categorisation and documentation of financial transactions
  • Application of VAT and tax principles relating to AR and AP transactions
  • Support for internal controls, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes

Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Diploma or Degree in finance

3 5 years of experience
Experience working on Sage Evolution
Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level

Solid understanding of AR, AP, cashbook and reconciliation processes
