AI Automation Engineer (Workflow Automation & Integration)

We're looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that create measurable business impact.

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered automation solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop agentic workflows for reconciliations, audit preparation, reporting, financial analytics and other business-critical functions.
• Build solutions using modern AI technologies, including Claude/Anthropic APIs, Java (Spring AI), Python and workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs, data pipelines and reporting platforms to enable seamless end-to-end automation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational effectiveness across Payments and related business functions.
• Implement appropriate human oversight, approval workflows and governance controls within automated processes.
• Ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, auditable and compliant with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and technology teams to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, automation engineering, AI engineering or a related technology discipline.
• Proven experience designing and deploying workflow automation solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong development skills in Java (Spring Framework) and/or Python.
• Experience working with AI/LLM integrations, agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, Camunda, Apache Airflow or similar technologies.
• Strong API integration and data engineering experience.
• Understanding of governance, risk, compliance and audit requirements within automated environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
