Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / NQF4 qualification (minimum)
  • 23 years relevant experience in customer service or technical support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with internal systems (software management systems, job tracking tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Strong organizational, planning, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and follow procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and arrange service attendances for maritime cranes
  • Provide operational support to Technical Advisors and Customer Service Team Leader
  • Plan engineer and apprentice pool allocations
  • Handle service requests and follow up on work reports
  • Prepare project-specific documentation and maintain records (timesheets, certificates, emails, etc.)
  • Support commissioning jobs and internal software use
  • Assist with asset control, fleet management, and service contract administration
  • Perform administrative duties including checklists, documentation for invoicing, and operational planning
  • Maintain a pro-active approach to customer support and service quality
