Financial Manager

A renewable energy and engineering organization, based in Rivonia, Johannesburg North, is seeking a Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function in a highly operational setting. This role offers exposure to engineering‑driven operations, project‑based finance, and a fast‑evolving energy environment where financial insight directly supports performance and sustainability outcomes.

You will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and meaningful operational insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full finance function, including reporting, controls, and compliance.
• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Partner closely with operational and engineering teams to support financial decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support project and operational finance initiatives within a technical environment.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Minimum 5+ years post‑qualification experience in a Financial Manager or similar role.
• Industry exposure to renewable energy, engineering, or infrastructure‑driven environments preferred.
• Strong experience managing the full finance function.
• Operationally minded with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insight.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting capability.
