Supply Chain Solutions Consultant

Our client provides supply chain planning, optimisation and execution solutions that help businesses improve distribution networks, fleet utilisation, route planning, service levels and operational performance.They are looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Solutions Consultant to support new customer implementations, manage existing client relationships and ensure customers continue to gain measurable value from implemented solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead new customer implementations and ensure solutions are correctly configured, adopted and embedded into operationsAct as the main point of contact for existing customers and drive continuous improvementManage Distribution Planners and Expeditors, including workloads, outputs, billable time and administrationDeliver optimisation exercises, including fleet mix analysis, service day assignment and customer-to-DC allocationIdentify and implement improvement opportunities for customersManage projects related to software roll-outs, enhancements and managed servicesFacilitate regular progress and performance meetings with clientsLiaise with technical, business analysis and operational teams to define, test and deploy system enhancementsResolve escalated client and operational issuesEnsure administration is completed accurately, including expenses, claims, leave approvals and billable hoursRequirementsDegree in Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain ManagementMinimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chainStrong understanding of logistics operations, planning and supply chain processesExperience in optimisation, route planning, distribution, fleet or transport environments will be advantageousStrong analytical ability and attention to detailIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong project management and organisational abilityConfident communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage client relationships and work with technical and operational teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who understands real-world logistics operations and can translate client requirements into practical supply chain solutions.This role will suit a proactive, analytical and client-focused individual who enjoys working with data, systems, planners and customers to improve operational performance.
