Junior creditors - Johannesburg

📍 Location: Kempton Park

We are seeking a young, dynamic, and detail-oriented Junior Creditors Clerk to join a finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong reconciliation skills, accuracy in handling financial data, and experience in working with both accounts payable and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate creditors' records and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable functions, including processing payments.
• Call clients to collect outstanding payments (credit control support).
• Assist the Financial Manager with ad hoc finance and administration duties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification (finance-related advantageous).
• 23 years experience in a similar creditors/accounts payable role.
• Proficiency in SAGE (non-negotiable) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Vibrant, motivated, and professional personality with a stable track record.
• Resides in or near Kempton Park.
