Guest Operations Administrator

You are an inspiring, empowering, and results-oriented Guest Operations Administrator with a keen eye for detail and a strength in administrative skills.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the departments within the Guest Operations Portfolio (Housekeeping, Laundry & Cleaning Department), facilitating smooth operations and contributing to the overall success of the services provided by the Guest Operations Portfolio.

You will process all administrative duties related to running the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Cleaning Departments (which comprise Kitchen Stewarding and Public Area Departments) as well as assist the various HODs with departmental administration.

Part of your role will be to ensure that rostering across all relevant departments is communicated in a timely manner on all relevant platforms and that rosters are accurately captured in the time and attendance systems. You will ensure that all pay and leave paperwork is timely and correctly captured and assist with guest amenity and cleaning supply stock ordering across Guest Operations.

Maintaining accurate staff files for each department within Guest Operations will be part of your duties.

Along with your Matric Certificate, you have at least 2 years experience in an administrative role in a busy, upmarket establishment with the flexibility to work across multiple departments. You are computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications, familiar with stock management applications, such as Materials Control, and have experience with time and attendance systems and rostering.

Additionally, you are familiar with hotel property management systems, including Opera.

You bring exceptional communication and administration skills, ensuring all tasks are executed with precision and accuracy.
