Sales Engineer - Dry Filtration

A leading player in the mining and industrial filtration space is looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to support and grow business across South Africa and selected African markets.
This role suits a technically strong sales professional who understands process filtration, enjoys working closely with mining clients and EPCM partners, and is comfortable operating in both local and cross-border environments.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mining, or Industrial Engineering
- 35 years technical sales experience in mining, heavy industry, or process environments
- Hands-on experience in filtration, particularly dust extraction / dry filtration
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and into Africa
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
- Strong commercial understanding (costings, margins, and quotations)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Selling technical filtration solutions into mining and industrial clients
- Managing and growing key accounts across local and export markets
- Supporting customers with application advice, product selection, and proposals
- Working with EPCMs, project houses, and end users on technical solutions
- Identifying new opportunities, developing markets, and closing deals
- Preparing technical presentations, proposals, and tenders
- Comfortable operating independently with strong CRM and reporting discipline
