Project Accountant

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for project costing, capex reporting, budget control, and financial analysis across multiple business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
• Track and report on capital expenditure and manufacturing investments
• Analyse project profitability, variances, and cost performance
• Prepare project financial reports and management presentations
• Partner with engineering, production, and operational teams
• Support business cases and investment evaluations
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and reporting standards
• Assist with project audits and financial close processes

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CIMA completed or in progress advantageous
• 38 years' experience in Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance
• Manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, automotive, or industrial sector experience preferred
• Strong understanding of capex, project costing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
