Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years current housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel room cleaning standards and procedures
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Valid South African ID or valid work permit
  • Fully updated CV required prior to application
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation
  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
  • Prepare rooms efficiently for arrivals, stayovers, and departures
  • Ensure all guest amenities are correctly replenished
Room Presentation & Quality Standards
  • Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards in bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Ensure linen, surfaces, and furnishings are presented impeccably
Public Area Support
  • Assist with cleaning corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces when required
Linen & Supplies Management
  • Ensure housekeeping trolleys are fully stocked with linen, guest supplies, and cleaning products
Maintenance Reporting
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or room defects promptly
Guest Interaction
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and escalate concerns where necessary
