The Role: Field Application EngineerThe purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between complex engineering and customer solutions. The Field Application Engineer acts as a hard-working team player who provides technical recommendations and manages product performance while identifying new business opportunities to support strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize 13 years of experience in Technical Sales to influence customers and deliver technical presentations.
- Conduct site visits to provide tailored technical recommendations and maintain the customer database.
- Take full technical ownership of product performance, updates, and market applications.
- Support strategic expansion into new markets and assist with marketing events and proposals.
- Maintain a solid understanding of logistics including warehousing and stock reporting.
- Communicate complex technical information regarding interconnect solutions or RF engineering.
- Use CRM software and sales tools to manage customer interactions and performance.
- Grade 12 plus a recognized technical qualification, with Mechatronics highly preferred.
- 13 years of experience in Technical Sales is advantageous.
- Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical information regarding interconnect solutions or RF engineering.
- Proven ability to influence customers and deliver technical presentations.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
- Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and stock reporting.
