Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Bookkeeper / Accountant with approximately 2 years experience to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping functions up to Trial Balance and work closely with senior finance professionals in delivering accurate financial reporting for clients.

• Assist with full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance
• Process invoices, receipts, and journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Assist with VAT submissions and statutory compliance
• Contribute to monthly management accounts preparation
• Support CFO team with client reporting
• General finance and administrative support as required

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance essential
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong English communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to work occasional late afternoon/early evening hours (around 18:00 SAST) for US client support
