Qualifications
- Matric
- Valid Code 10 drivers license.
- Valid Dangerous Goods (DG) permit.
- Proven experience driving Tata trucks
- Ability to read maps, follow routes, and meet delivery schedules.
- Experience in transporting Tata Trucks.
- Knowledge of basic truck maintenance
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when necessary
- Safely operate Tata trucks for local and/or long-distance deliveries.
- Transport goods, including hazardous materials, according to safety regulations.
- Load and unload when required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational condition of the truck.
- Report on mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Keep accurate delivery notes, fuel logs, and trip sheets.
- Follow company procedures and all road, traffic, and hazardous material regulations.
