A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICES CLERK
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints, ranging from simple to complex matters.
  • Provide professional assistance to customers, ensuring they receive the most suitable solutions.
  • Manage and respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support dispatch operations and collaborate closely with the dispatch team.
  • Maintain effective communication with local drivers and external sales representatives.
  • Compile monthly dispatch reports and assist with general administrative and housekeeping duties.
  • Process picking slips, convert orders, manage invoicing, and assist with order pulling and checking when required.
  • Promote teamwork and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE
  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of K8 system (advantageous).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of power tools and accessories is beneficial.
  • Strong sense of accountability and pride in delivering results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
