What Were Looking For- A valid South African ID or work permit
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Formal culinary qualification or certificate (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
- 1 to 2 years experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel kitchen
- Strong technical knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation
- Thorough understanding of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP principles
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A strong team ethic and willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Take responsibility for the daily preparation and service within your assigned section
- Deliver dishes of impeccable quality, presentation, and flavour in line with luxury standards
- Prepare mise en place efficiently and maintain precision during service
- Ensure correct stock rotation, storage, and minimal waste
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene throughout your section
- Support your Chef de Partie and colleagues in ensuring smooth and coordinated service
- Uphold discipline, professionalism, and pride in every aspect of your work
- Demonstrate consistency and attention to detail in every dish
