As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function of the business unit, with a strong emphasis on stock management, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Duties:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day finance operations of the business unit.
- Ensure effective stock management, inventory costing, and controls.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Qualifications:
- Completed BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- SAIPA or SAICA articles.
- Experience:
- At least 5+ years financial management experience, preferably within a services or operationally intensive environment.
- Extensive experience in stock managementfrom systems and controls to costing and reconciliations.
- Prior leadership or management experience is highly advantageous.
