Assistant Financial Manager

This Assistant Financial Manager role will see you working closely with the Financial Manager and other key stakeholders, gaining exposure to both strategic and operational aspects of the business.

Other Duties Include:

Assisting with monthly management reporting and financial packs
Preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Overseeing GL accuracy, reconciliations, and journals
Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls
Business partnering with operational teams for financial input and reporting

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1 to 2 years experience in a commercial finance or accounting role
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Exposure to manufacturing, mining, or industrial sectors is advantageous
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
