A well-established, busy Dental Practice in Kempton Park is seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a busy practice, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting in a wide range of dental procedures.
Minimum Requirements- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private dental practice.
- Relevant Dental Assisting qualification.
- Active HPCSA registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy; experience with dental practice management software will be advantageous.
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
- Assisting the dentist during treatments.
- Keeping the workspace clean and organised.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Clean, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Assist with stock control and the ordering of dental materials when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 07h00 – 18h00 & Every 2nd Saturday: 07h00 – 13h00
Remuneration: Negotiable (based on experience)
