Payroll/HR Administrator - Kempton Park

Purpose:

Join a team where precision, people, and purpose intersect. As a Payroll/HR Administrator you’ll ensure our employees are paid on time, in full, always legally, while supporting critical HR functions that keep our organization running smoothly and compliantly.

What You'll Do:

  • Run payroll for monthly, weekly, and subcontractor staff using Sage VIP Cloud – accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll and leave records, ensuring compliance with MEIBC, MIBFA, and SARS.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and discrepancies within 24 hours.
  • Coordinate recruitment, interviews, psychometrics, onboarding, and internal communications.
  • Assist with performance reviews, disciplinary prep, and HRIS updates.
  • Ensure HR practices meet ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Support BBBEE reporting, EMP501 submissions, and HR audits.
  • Actively contribute to our safety culture, performance tracking, and HR documentation systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years HR/payroll experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Sage VIP Cloud experience (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with MIBFA/MEIBC regulations and HRIS platforms.
  • Matric + HR Diploma (NQF5) or similar qualification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
