REQUIREMENTS

Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is essential.
Proven experience in travel management of specific regions of operation (South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Botswana - advantageous)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
Passion for creating out of the box travel experiences
Accuracy and attention to detail

DUTIES

Extensive client liaison.
Develop and manage budgets for each program.
Optimize costs while maintaining quality.
Coordinate transportation, accommodation, functions, events and all ground activities.
Ensure seamless execution of travel programs in conjunction with our Programme Tour Director
Work closely with local industry partners and existing relationships play a large role in the appointment of the applicant.
Negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates.
Understand client requirements and preferences.
Translate briefs into innovative travel programs

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
