Production Planner

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Engineering (advantageous)
- CPIM certification (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in SYSPRO and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of MRP principles and manufacturing flow
- Experience in flexographic printing, extrusion, or packaging manufacturing (advantageous)
- Strong communicator with excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Build and maintain a firm production plan for Printing and Extrusion, aligned to the sales order book and lead times
- Monitor and manage feedstock and bought-in reel stock levels to support downstream production requirements
- Update production schedules daily, track WIP, and drive adherence across all production teams
- Proactively communicate delivery dates, changes and deviations to the Sales team
- Maintain accurate planning data within SYSPRO and generate management reports
- Identify production risks early and escalate potential bottlenecks before they impact throughput
