Financial Manager

This position provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership, while gaining broad exposure across multiple areas of the business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment with complex intercompany relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts
- Drive and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Maintain compliance with IFRS standards and internal financial policies
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee cash flow management and optimise liquidity
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit processes
- Supervise debtors and creditors functions
- Ensure accurate inventory control and related financial processes
- Support operational cost management, including labour and overtime analysis
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
- Analyse margins and overall profitability
- Monitor and report on intercompany transactions
- Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to the CFO and General Manager
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Honours required)
- 23 years relevant experience in a finance role
- Experience working within intercompany structures is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Advanced analytical and reconciliation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and initiative
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous approach
- Professional, composed, and solution-focused mindset
- Willingness to exceed expectations when required
- Supportive leader with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members
- Proactive and capable of managing responsibilities independently
