Junior SQL Developer

• Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Assist with the design and maintenance of database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships.
• Work closely with software developers to integrate databases with business applications.
• Monitor database performance and assist in identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Support data quality and integrity initiatives through validation and cleansing processes.
• Perform routine database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and data migrations.
• Build and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Develop, enhance, and support Power BI data models and reporting solutions.
• Ensure database security and compliance with data protection standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for databases, processes, and configurations.
• Stay up to date with emerging database technologies, tools, and industry trends.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction from senior technical team members.
• Familiarity with database management tools and SQL client applications will be advantageous.
• Exposure to SSRS and Power BI will be beneficial.
• Relevant SQL or database certifications are advantageous but not essential.
