SQL Developer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
• Relevant database or SQL certifications advantageous
• A strong academic background will be beneficial

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Familiarity with relational database management systems
• Exposure to database management tools and SQL client applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn from experienced developers and database professionals
• Experience with SSRS and Power BI advantageous

Key Performance Areas:

• Assist with the development, maintenance, and optimization of databases
• Write, test, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and management
• Support the design and implementation of database schemas, tables, and indexes
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with applications
• Monitor and improve database performance
• Assist in maintaining data integrity, validation, and cleansing processes
• Perform routine database maintenance, backups, restores, and data migrations
• Support database security initiatives and compliance requirements
• Document database processes, configurations, and best practices
• Develop and maintain reports using SSRS
• Build and support Power BI models and reporting solutions
• Stay current with database technologies and industry best practices
