Mechanical design engineer required to assist with testing and manufacturing of composite parts for the Automotive Industry. Design of tooling and components. Parts are designed, manufactured, and assembled locally. Some parts are manufactured in the USA.
Qualification and experience required:
- BEng. or MEng/MSc Mechanical Engineering
- Design experience on Inventor or Solid Works
- 3-5 years of working experience in product design
- Skills in assembly and component designs, or skills in component product designs
- Knowledge of Composites and materials.
- Ability to interpret specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Modelling and design of components and systems on component assembly and sub-assemblies
- Generating component and assembly drawings for prototyping
- Product design for manufacturing
