A specialist player in the mineral processing industry is looking for a driven Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their high-performance team.

This is not a passive, sit-and-draw role. You will be designing real components, solving real engineering challenges, and contributing to equipment used in demanding industrial environments.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Design and develop mechanical components for mineral processing equipment
• Work closely with senior engineers to take designs from concept through to manufacturing
• Produce detailed technical drawings and ensure design accuracy and compliance
• Get involved in problem-solving on existing equipment and continuous improvements
• Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure practical, buildable designs
• Be hands-on in a fast-moving engineering environment where deadlines matter

• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical component design
• Strong CAD design ability with a focus on detail and accuracy

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years experience specifically in component design
• Exposure to heavy industry, manufacturing, or mineral processing will be advantageous
