Senior Mechanical Project Engineer – Plants

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Plants to lead and deliver complex mechanical engineering projects within industrial plant environments. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring efficient plant design, installation, commissioning, and optimization while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

• Lead mechanical engineering projects for plant systems from concept through to commissioning and handover.
• Develop and review mechanical designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of plant equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reliability.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical engineering within plant or industrial environments.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of plant equipment, systems, and maintenance practices.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
