Group Head: IT Operations, Infrastructure and Service Delivery

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery strategy
- Lead infrastructure, operations, and service delivery functions across multiple regions
- Develop and implement IT service management frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Drive large-scale transformation, cloud adoption, automation, and modernisation initiatives
- Ensure excellent service desk performance and continuous service improvement
- Manage IT governance, security, compliance, risk, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
- Measure and optimise the return on investment of technology infrastructure and services
- Build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to align technology strategies with organisational objectives
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field
- Advantageous: Postgraduate qualification and/or MBA
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in IT
- At least 8 years' experience in a senior Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations role
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery functions
- Experience managing global technology environments and cross-functional teams
- Technical Skills:
- IT Operations and Infrastructure Management
- IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices
- Hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
- Enterprise Architecture alignment and governance
- Digital Transformation, Automation, and Cloud Migration initiatives
- Vendor, Contract, and Technology Partner Management
- IT Financial Management, Budgeting, and Cost Optimisation
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong strategic leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

- Proven ability to drive change, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Strong governance, risk, and compliance awareness
- ITIL Certification is essential
