Senior Financial Manager

This Senior Financial Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a finance team, partner with operational stakeholders, oversee complex financial reporting and controls, and play a key role in supporting large-scale projects and strategic business decisions within a highly regulated and operationally intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end, and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX controls, and internal governance requirements.
• Manage inventory accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing finance activities.
• Oversee project finance, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability reporting.
• Partner with operational and engineering teams to drive business performance.
• Manage relationships with state-owned entities and key external stakeholders.
• Support audit processes and continuous control improvement initiatives.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) with a minimum of 5 years post-articles experience.
• Manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector experience with inventory exposure.
• Proven finance team management and business partnering experience.
• Strong IFRS, SOX, and financial reporting expertise.
• Oracle ERP and project finance experience, with exposure to state-owned entities advantageous.
